Hi all,
Busy doing the service on wifes 306.
Why is there a second drain plug, directly above the lower one?
As the filter is "upside down", do I need to prime it with grease or will the engine cope 'til it is filled? If I fill it, it'll empty itself before I screw it on.
Thanks all
Tony H

The engine will fill it no problem, just, as always, wait for the pressure light to go out before driving off!
As for two plugs, I got no Idea, maybe the higher one is for cheaper services!!!

Or, just had a thought, maybe it's for flushing the sump out of crap with out having to run it through the engine, undo both and flush through the top one, I have no idea what with though!

Yep, probably a blank for the oil temp sensor.
