Hello All.

Can any 172 Cup owners (or anyone else) recommend the best tyres for all round performance? I have heard that the Cups are quite fussy. I need to replace a full set on my recently purchased Clio ASAP as it is running with 3 different brands at the moment and ride quality/handling is defo not right.

I used Vreidstein's on my Mk4 Golf 180T and it made a big difference.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I'll second the Eagle F1's - got some on the front of mine and they're great.

I've got Toyo proxes T1-R's on my 172, had T1-S's before that.

Ealge F1's are good.

Just note that they soon wear out, I wore my fronts out on my 306gti in about 7000miles.

Mine came with Continentals (poo) and I replaced with Eagle F1's (fantastic).

The difference was really noticeable in the wet.

Drove one on Saturday with Yokohama Parada's on it and it handled very well, they look rather good too.
