hi, not posted on this part of the forum before just needed to know if anyone has a 406 HDI 110 or indeed any HDI 110 and can let me know how big and noticable the power/torque gains are and the best place to get it done.

Celtic tuning or Derv Doctor both do custom remaps.

They just up the boost and alter the fuelling to take up the slack, and numberous other tweaks, and you end up with around 150bhp and 250lbft...

Well worth the £300+vat that seems to be the going rate.

I'm planning on remapping my 306Hdi with one of the above, but as standard it has no intercooler, so gains are limited. If your happy to would you care to take some pictures of the intercooler at all? I'm tempted to try fit a Hdi110 cooler, or at least the piping or something to get me half way there

Cheers

I think the intercooler sits at the front of the engine, next to the radiator.

No worries really if you can't, I'm looking out for one in a scrapper so I can pull things off and see what goes where

Just seen a 306 Hdi in a breakers today and had a feel around the back and a good look as the engine was hanging off just one mount. I rekon I may get one of those PWR chargecoolers in there just nicely, then it's all hidden away and stock looking and minimum hassle, then it's just routing for the water>air rad which is easy peasy

Cheers for the look anyway.
