Steering play on my Williams Clio 3
Discussion
I'd go for lower ball joints or track rod ends...
Lift wheel off floor, turn lock one way, get someone else to hold the steering firmly, and then have a wiggle of the road wheel to feel for movement.
Then reverse method and get your helper to steer quickly left and right and see if there is any excess movement in joints.
