Anyone got a Cilo 182 trophy
Discussion
Hi Stu,
I am looking at a 182 with cup packs, but if i had the cash, the trophy seems to be an excellent buy and will better hold onto its value if that matters.
If you look on cliotrophy (as posted above) you'll see that it has the same niggles as any other 182. The only specific problems to the trophy seem to be with the supply of spare dampers and seats if they ever need replacing!
Enjoy it if you get one, must be a very different experience from the 147GTA?

Yep I've got one! There are at least a couple more owners on here too.
As Shirkin says - get yourself over to cliotrophy.
The only problem I've had with mine was with the alarm but that was a common fault which many Trophy's had - simple dealer fix.
Beyond that I think the only problems people have had are those commonly found on the standard 182 such as dodgy water temp sensors that cause the car to revert to limp home mode.

The seats are standard Recaro's so you can get replacements through them if necessary. As for the dampers however, there seems to be some confusion over whether Renault had enough manufactured by Sachs to cover repairs or if they just got 500 sets made up to fit the cars!

It never went into limp home mode with mine. It went into *bloody hell pierre, this engine is cold, lets give it more fuel!* mode. Then the bastard flooded and couldnt start till 30 mins.
Happened to me 3 times.
