My Clio hasn't got alloys, although its no big deal...its begining to get on my boobs.

So can anyone tell me if I can slip the standard style of Renault alloy seen on this pic on my Clio even if it is 16inch?

Should be able to, they are the wheels from a 172 I think. Which Clio do you have?

Just got a 1.2 16V.

Although its predicatably slow, im just wanting bigger/fatter wheels for more grip. However something like 17in + that would feck up the handling completly is not option. 16in is the largest I would go on a car of this size.

Plus im fed up of the piddly little standard wheels that accompany my (Mums) car

You can get those alloys in 15". Very common. They come on all of the 'Sport' range, typically the 1.2s.

And yes, simple job, take old wheels off, put new ones on.

The girlfriend has a 1.2 16v Clio with 15" alloys in (They look like the ones in that photo). Seems to go ok.
