Removal of Peugeot 307 headlight unit
Discussion
Its one of those simple jobs thats turning into an all dayer!
All I wanted to do was change the nearside driving bulb, first cock up was to drop the new bulb into the engine bay, having jacked the car up and retreived it I've now dropped the spring clip into the head light unit.
The only way I can see to get it is to remove the whole unit. I've undone a bolt and a star shaped nut on the top but I assume there are some other fastenings as it won't budge.
Any help please!!

Hi there, there should be a plastic cover behind the headlight, which turns anit clockwise and comes off, there is a push connector on the back of the bulb, (carefull not to get it mixed up with the main beam bulb),
Then there is like a push type holder keeping the bulb in place, bloody akward to get your hands on (if you have hands like mine )
Push this in as hard as you can whilst manouvering the holder to the left (as your standing) slightly, This should release the bulb, they are a pain in the arse to change.
Removal of a 307 headlamp is a bumper off job mate, or at least dropped to one side.
Happy new year,
Ross

Ooopsies, misread, you dropped the spring clip holder, dear me, that shouldnt of came out,
Anyways, start by removing the wheelarch liner, held in with about 10,000 shitty french push in clips (best if you can remove the wheel also, its a while since Ive done one, but once the arch liners out of the way I belive theres a 10mm in the top corner of the wing for the headlamp, and one at the front, down by where the sidelights are, I think this is right, I will check it out when Im back at work on tuesday if you want mate,
best of luck anyways
