Did have a 97 306 Diesel Turbo - till the engine blew one New years eve.

The misses has just gone through a 206 GTI (with engine fault, owned for a month), Clio 1.2 (which got written off, owned for 2 weeks) and is now on a Clio 1.5 diesel - which, rather oddly, she loves: she is now a soap-boxer for all cars French, and diesel.

I'm quite fond of it too, and it can almost out accelerate my car (if the correct conditions are met )

About time the frenchies got a forum,

Hello everyone!

I've got a clio 172 mk1,
Used to own a 172 mk2 but due to a uninsured driver writing it off and losing 3 years no claims I had to replace it with something, was meant to be something easier to insure, but couldn't resist.

Had a pug 106 before that as well, bit of a pattern emerging!

I spend some of my time driving a 1990 Van Diemen Formula Renault with the original R21 engine & box. The motor blew in August, so i'm on the lookout for a 1721cc or 2l 8v motor on the cheap...

Icelandic grey (pale blue really) Saxo VTS.
Almost all the badges are off and none of the usual GRP and chrome appendages.

Great car, quick enough mostly, handles nicely and is comfy for long hauls and averages 37-41mpg.
May soon be replaced by something from Norfolk or Japan though, had enough of FWD for now.

edited to add piccy that I forgot about.
