Citroen C3 picasso diesel owners please help

Any truth that the engine on these has 400.000 lifespan? A few years of manufacture says 200.000 but I think it was the 2012 that they rated the 400.000, I did a Google search and checked vehical score to get this info... Seems a bit too good to be true, and what's your overall thoughts on running these, can they do long motorway journeys a few times a year.. and your experience or repair costs/servicing, cheers folks
The C3 Picasso diesel comes in two versions 90HP and 110HP. The latter has a six speed gearbox so they are easy to tell apart. We have owned our 2011 135k miles 90HP car since new and it has been great. The engine is used in many Peugeot/Citroen cars and also I believe Minis too. It is a real tardis and works well just travelling locally or on long motorway runs. I think the newest will probably be about seven years old now so it's like buying any car of that age check the maintenance records.

Thank you for your feedback, there are a good few of the 90bhp around with low mileage, the only newer ones I've seen for sale are alot higher milage like 100.000 plus miles and are around the 5 grand price point, I'm a bit uneasy about spending that incase it has past it's prime, if it's going to trundle on into the 200.000s then I don't mind paying that amount.. Again thank you for your reply 👍
