I've had a facelift 208 gti for 3 months and I love it, so far I haven't had any issues as long as I keep an eye on the oil level.

I'm just wondering if there are any mods I could do to make it more reliable, I also would like to see some other people's gti's for inspiration

I've had one since July, touch wood not had any problems with it and it's great fun. Apparently Pug1off are the people to go to for mods.

This does not make sense. Are you saying you're worried about reliability? And that the oil level has dropped?

They tend to burn oil so it's pretty normal, I know it's been reliable so far but I wanted to see if there is anything I could change that may cause issues in the future

I know the thp 200 gti's had alot of issues but there isn't alot of information on the facelift 208 thps

Had mine a few months now, I absolutely love it. One of the best handling fwd cars I've driven.

I bought mine with a few suspension rattles that I've fixed. Getting parts for the BPS suspension. Has proven difficult. It would seem the aftermarket have no idea there's a difference. Last thing I'm waiting on is control arms. As they have skf spherical bearings instead of front bushes.
The only other issues I'm aware of is the carbon build up in the inlet ports. I'm planning to fit a catch can to help prevent this. And timing chain tensioners can go but you can hear when they do

Took it to brands on Monday.

Love the colour of your bps, since I made this thread I have had to replace my front drivers shock but not had any other problems.
