Renault Laguna Sat Nav Issues

The sat-nav in my Laguna Coupe has decided to play silly buggers.
Over the last couple of days the map on the touch screen shows that I am in Sheffield, in actually in Gloucester, & no matter what I do I cannot get the map on the screen too show my home destination.
Add to the an almost continual command to either ‘turn left in 80 yards’ or ‘turn sharp right’ & im on the verge of hitting the unit with a hammer!!!
Instruction manual is as much use as chocolate tea-pot & the garage that sold me the car are currently refusing too hour their warranty on the car so I’m a bit stuck.
Haven’t used the sat-nav since I bought the car a month ago & I cannot work out how to reset the sat-nav (I have yet too use it).
Any assistance gratefully accepted.
