Picked up a 2010 plate Grand Scenic a few months back. Took it out for a drive this morning after its service on Monday and on a corner down a hill I heard a bonk noise from the nearside and my 'check parking brake' warning light popped on. Drove it home and every tight corner I could hear said bonking noise and the steering, certainly to the right, doesn't feel that good.

While I'm no mechanic, I have an ok knowledge of what issues could be, but I'm not sure on this one? My head says anti-roll bar (or that area) but I can't see why it would cause the parking brake light to come on

Have you whipped the rear wheels off to take a look at the rear callipers? First thing I would do would be to check that both callipers are working and not seized on.

So, just off the back of this turned out the coil springs were knackered, so I had all 4 changed.

I now have an issue with the parking break and an error code 'Check Parking Break' flashes up. I can turn it up with a switch under the footwell, but it comes back. The garage that undertook the coil spring replacement range a diagnostic and it showed up a fault code DF008 Clutch Position Sensor Circuit. Any ideas?
