Hi all,
In need of some help. My Megane RS mk3 has developed an intermittent wobble/ full car vibration. This starts in the pedals and in seconds is the full car. It only does it at high speeds, on a dead straight run and constant speed, but the speed can vary massively and doesn’t happen every time.
Wheels and brakes have been checked as well as the general condition for any loose parts.

My suspicions now flywheel or cv joint!

HELP any ideas!!

The dual mass flywheel are known to fail. Could be that. It can cause a vibration. How many miles has it done?

Had mine replaced in January on 40k. It didn't cause a vibration but made a clacking noise at idle. The noise was intermittent to begin with. I had the clutch changed at the same time so a hefty bill with the labour unfortunately.

Good place for advice is RS Megane Collective on Facebook.

Recommend finding a specialist to diagnose and fix the fault.

Cheers It’s currently with a Renault specialist currently just trying to think of all possibilities before the hefty bill of DMF. It’s got 69k on it mostly motorway, never tracked… yet 🤪
