R.I.P. Citroen C1
Discussion
I’ve bought 2 of these for my daughter. A gen-1 in which she learned to drive, followed by a gen-2. In terms of customer satisfaction, based on my own small survey these cars are the best I’ve ever bought. It’s a pity, Citroen, and other French brands are brilliant at this sort of thing.

I read somewhere that it costs the manufacturers too much to get these small new cars to comply with latest/upcoming emissions regs?
Yes, emissions regs, and safety regs. As time goes on, the cost to manufacturer these cars in the smallest class goes up and erodes the profits, it will eventually make the super mini class disappear altogether, when the prices rise enough to justify the next class up (Citroen C2) would be the smallest in the range eventually. I think it's already been agreed there will not be a MK3 C1 etc.
