Citroen C5 Aircross traction control
Discussion
I've spent a few days with a Citroen C5 Aircross as a rental. This is my first experience driving a Citroen and I'm generally very impressed with this car.
The only fly in the ointment is the traction control. Any hint of dampness leads to the traction control light activating, even at low speeds. The tyres are Michelin (Energy savers I think) with plenty of tread and the weather hasn't been that cold.
I am increasingly of the mind that what initially felt as slip from the tyres is actually the traction control intervening unnecessarily. Which requires a subsquent correction from myself. The speeds are too low and the roads too dry to be otherwise.
My question is whether this is a trait of this Citroen (or Citroen's in general) or if the TC on this particular one is overzealous?
PS. I know you can prob turn off TC but the car is going back tomorrow. Also, I wouldn't want it off completely, just to make it less sensitive.
