Citroen C1 - new owner USB issue
Discussion
Hi, I've just bought a used 2016 Citroen C1 Flair. I would be grateful for some help please!
Generally I'm very happy with the car - but. My Sony Xperia phone connects via Bluetooth perfectly, but when I try to connect the phone using the USB socket to Mirror Screen with Android Auto - nothing. I click the 'Connect' button, icon spins a bit then closes. On the plus side the USB is charging the phone.
I've tried using different USB cables - no joy. I've also tried attaching a USB stick, an external drive and an Apple iPod (2?) into the USB socket and pressed 'Audio Source' - the USB button remains inactive/unlit.
External drive and USB stick is FAT32, I've tried drives with multiple music files (mp3 and aac) even a single file, nothing seems to register. There is no system update to download.
I've search online but can find no suggestions to cure the issue. In 'Settings' Apple iPod is ticked for USB use.
Would anyone know about/have experience of such an issue - help needed
