Diesel engine reliable? - Timing chain or other issues? - Costs to replace (unbroken / preventative) using an Indi

Any Indi specialists / remappers in Midlands?

Do u need to buy GT to get full leather interior like RCZ, or is there a less firm suspension option still with full leather?

Elec Roof Indi specialists?

thx

I take it that you are talking about the 2ltr HDi engine rather than the 1.6HDi engine here?
Both are belt, Peugeot don't really do timing chains so everything except the EP series engines have them (due to BMW).
The DW10 is a solid 2ltr derv, timing belts due around 112k miles/10 years, keep them well serviced and they will run forever, avoid unserviced examples as they will just give you issues.

yes 2 litre - sounds good - hope the scuttle shake is minimal and rides better than the RCZ variant

Sister has the 200 Gt 2011 RCZ - does this have the vulnerable German chain set-up? - 75k mls 10 yrs old, 3k mls per yr and full main dealer servicing

If it needs doing, what sort of cost?

Kettering based, any good Indi workshops for these?

thx David

The 200 GT runs the EP6 Prince engine so may suffer from the chain causing issues, most people leave it till it rattles but some will to preventative maintenance and have the full kit replaced, cost is between £4-500 from an indy, though don't know of any around Kettering as I don't live around there frown but people do rate Pug1off, their post code is nn13 7es.

RCZ should ride better than you think as well, I have 2, tyres are a big thing on these for that believe it or not, cheap ones usually cause some issues, as do mixing tyres, premium/good mid range tyres are worth it on a 200 as well, just because its sportier and you want the best grip available biggrin
