Ok so I am starting to think I want to snap up a cheap R26.

It will be a daily as I have a 182 as a track car but I like the idea of making it track ready at somepoint and tracking it in the future too when I am a bit more confident.

I am happy buying higher miles and looking not to spend a lot otherwise I'd just look at a mk3.

So wondering what I should be looking for other than cambelt done around 70 and generally serviced, checking brakes and tires and electrical etc.

Thanks

Hi Z4

I'm contemplating selling mine. If you are interested drop me a message. 84k miles full history and cambelt done October 19. I won't give any more info here as I don't want to break any rules etc.

Hi

Just changed my settings to allow e mails, I didnt realise I'd not already allowed it. Tried to e mail you through the site but it seems I got the same message as you.

If you want to try again I should receive it now.

Cheers

Mike

Mines on 102k atm. Bought at around 80k. Plenty of niggly issues and a few larger ones. It's a bit of a lottery tbh as you may expect. Most important thing is make sure the belts have been done recently. They are due every 5 years or 60k miles. £600+ to have them done if I remember right.
