i have owned a 2001 purgeot 206 for nearley a year now and it has always stalled setting off in low revs because i am off with covid 19 scare thought i would take a look at it bought a spare idle steppa motor switch when i bought the car took old one off there was some oily rubbish stuck to end of plunger end the hole it fits in the one i bought was wrong one so fitted cleaned old one problem solved no more stalling before buying a steppa motor take a look at your old one there seems to be two types one has plain meatal plunger and one has metal plunger with rubber peice on end wrong one will not work the same
