Borrowed parents Renault Mégane MY15, I have a ferry crossing tomorrow which requires the doors to remain opened.
How do I do this? It autolocks as you walk away, don't want to leave key in it as it'll be 14-16hour crossing and fear it having a flattery.

Is it as simple as walking away, letting auto lock go off, then unlocking, getting someone to open the door? Or do I need to wear some braids of garlic and have a seance with some Brie and a fine Bordeaux?

Get out, shut the door, press the unlock button on the key. Should do it.

Do you actually have to leave the doors unlocked or just disable the alarm?

Can't remember, but definitely alarm off, thanks I'll try it.

There's an alarm disable procedure that you can do and still lock the doors if required.

This works on mine.

Sometimes it just doesn't bother to auto lock anyway biggrin
