Megane RS 265. How to set the clock?!
Discussion
I've just bought the above second hand (63 reg) , and notice that where the digital clock should be on the RS monitor screen there is --/--. ie the time has never been set. I've been through the Settings option to set it and they don't seem to work. I can go into 'clock', and 'set time', but then there seems no way to enter digits, or even to just advance the clock from 00:00. There's just the + sign or the <- back arrow. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

To change the clock, go into the menu and swivel the left steering column up/down thing (for changing radio/song) or swivel the knob itself.
Do you mean the stubby stalk hidden behind the wheel on the right? (My car is RHD). It has buttons to change radio volume/station, phone settings, activate voice help.. I tried these but nothing registered on the clock screen. The stalk on the left is lights only as far as I can see..Tim3003 said:

It's not set to GPS time is it, preventing you to change it?
In case anyone is still interested:
I just updated the R-link software - I saw some of the maps were out of date, and found out the way to update maps is via the R-link website.
To update, had to connect my sd-card to my PC. Download the R-link software and install it. Run, and R-link does the rest. Listed on the web-page update menu are some apps. One of them is 'Clock'. I downloaded this too as part of my update, just in case.
Having now installed the updates - done automatically when you put the sd-card in the car, the clock works!
So that's one way of doing it. I assume the original installation to the car didn't include the Clock app for some reason.
