Things to lookout for 2012/3 DS3

Jnr 21 has her heart set on a DS3, circa 60K on the clock, petrol, immaculate body, interior. Service history up to 50K.

Any pitfalls mechanically?

Citroen DS3 1.6 VTi DStyle Plus

and its 65K, been into the body shop for two days to have all the dings and marks removed

Jnr is determined to test drive tomorrow.

That’ll be a NA then-fortunately the much more reliable of the two options!

I've got a 2010 DS3 1.6 VTi DStyle, which I've had from new. The only fault it's had is a failed exhaust bracket; check both the brackets on the back box, as they are prone to rusting through. Otherwise, it's just the usual consumables, brakes, tyres, etc.

Prince engine, not a great unit.

Back box hangers WILL be rotten.

Had a HDI Dstyle plus and I think in 60K went through 3 ball joints and two bust springs which is a bit of a joke. Not sure if it sits lower than other models or just larger wheels.

Diamond cut wheels will usually look like they have been under the sea but that's not just the DS3.
