I am looking at a very well looked after 182..

downside is its been kept its entire 14 year life by the sea. However the one owner has been very good with services and its just had a major one with cambelts etc.

currently sat on nearly 160k

Main issue is there is now some rust on the sill and the wheel arch...how much of an issue is this, is it something that can easily be solved for not crazy money that I can just factor into the price?

Hoping to be looking at at the car at around the 1500/1300 mark

Or should I just walk away?

thanks

As a rule of thumb I don't tend to buy cars with rust coming through because its a sure fire sign that money and potentially quite a lot, needs to be spent to stop it spreading.

I would walk personally. These cars don't tend to rust easily in my experience. My cup doesn't have any rust and these cars are still plentiful in numbers on the road so why settle for less?

Renaults don't rust, I'd walk, there will be another.
