I’ve a longstanding interest in buying a classic R8 Gordini, where’s the best source of advice in making sure I buy wisely?
The few that turn up are either wrecks for restoration, recreations or are for sale in Europe.
Advice please!

It would be better to post your question in the Classic Cars & Yesterday's Heroes forum. I can't give you a suggestion however any excuse to post pictures of my Dauphine Gordini.

My grandfather had a Renault 8 in the late 60s. As i used to borrow it i always wished he'd bought the S version, never mind the Gordini. I remember the Autocar test saying it had the best lights of any car they had ever tested. Hardly surprising, considering it had two Cibie Oscars in the front panel.
