(yawn...) insurance on a 182? 21y/o

Yep, I know you probably can't help, and it depends on millions of factors....

I'm just looking for recommendations on places to go for insurance on an 05 Clio 182:
- A simple meerkat.com quote comes in at £1,860 p/a (21 y/o, 9k miles, garaged, 1yr ncb).
- My current insurers (Aviva) won't insure me (ins group too high I guess going from 23 to 31)
- I'm yet to try Flux, Greenlight etc, so I assume these will offer a more competitive quote?

Also is there any club member discounts I should sign up for? Never really had a specialist insurance before

Greenlight have always been considerably cheaper than Flux in my experience. Track day cover is £45 for the day which is great value if you’re planning any.

Great I will have to try them 1 or 2 track days a year may be on the cards, so that sounds like a good idea!

I thought you had to be 21 to get modified insurance through them? Or maybe this is a new rule of theirs...
