Hello all!

I am looking at DS4s around 11-12 reg. I have seen a couple around the £6k mark (1.6 thp engine) but these don't have the sat nav screen in.
I have seen one a 90 mile drive away with the screen in but it is about 1500 pou ds more expensive than the one J have seen.
I want to know a couple of things really. Forst of all, are these cars reliable? I drove the car on Saturday and I l8ked it but owners reviews would be great.
Secondly, is the screen worth any more money? Does it make the car much better for day to day use or is it just a crap old built in nav system and another thing to go wrong?

Many thanks

Bob

We have a 13 plate 1.6 diesel DS4 (DStyle). We bought it when it was around 9 months old and have now had it around 4 years, and done around 35000 miles in it. It's been faultless, other than a tendency to pull to the left a bit (increasing tyre wear) - we've had the tracking tweaked a few times but the "characteristic" seems to return. Other than that, it's been thoroughly decent. We only get around 50mpg out of it though for mixed driving - nowhere near the claimed 65mpg. Best I managed was 60mpg on a very sedate long trip on A roads. The DS4 generally gets slated in reviews, but we've been happy with ours. We like the look of it, and the rarity, and as I say absolutely no reliability issues to date. Ours doesn't have integrated sat nav so I can't comment on that. It does have seat massaging though, and it's pointless! Would much rather have heated seats!
