New one seen on TG website. Don't see a thread here yet.

As someone who dislikes generally Peugeots for just being white goods, the new 508 looks great inside and out from the pics on TG imo.

The last one was actually also a very decent car which went under the radar. Great value used.

The old one's on the 2001-on C5/407 platform, so definitely a bit long in the tooth now.

This one's going to be on EMP2 - current 308 onwards, up to 3008/5008/DS7 and the Expert/ProAce vans. This 508 is also going to be restyled/badged for the next Insignia/C5/DS5. Yer bog standard PSA partsbin/badge-engineering, really...

It is, but it is a *big* change from the 407 - feels a vastly different car. The 2008-2016 C5 doesn't feel much like the first C5 either despite being on a shared platform and is a much underrated car for what you can pick them up for.

I have a weakness for big French metal. I also have a major thing for the first shape 508...

The back of this one I like, but the front just looks like a Kia.

I worked on the interior project on the 508. I remember being more than impressed with it at launch, and it was a largely underrated car. Doesn't seem like that long ago!

For a humdrum saloon that looks really nice. Much rather have that over a Mondeo/Ingsignia

It'll be the next Insignia - remember that PSA own Opel now...

I like that plenty

I really like this.

Interestingly it seems to have frameless doors, which makes it perhaps more of a rival to the Arteon (another 5 door hatchback with frameless doors) than your usual Mondeo etc.

I love the interior. I am tempted to get one (I have been looking at Arteons recently but can't quite bring myself to do it). But I expect this 508 will not be available in the UK for some time.

I really like this, the interior is a mixed bag, but the rear is just lovely

If only there was an interesting engine option.

That and the new V60 just go to show how plain the german brands look, although at least the german brands put proper steering wheels in their cars
