Tyres for 2010 Twingo II RS?
Discussion
My 1.6 Twingo II RS is still on 16k miles from new. It's on its original alloys along with (presumably) its original Continental Conti Sport 195/40 R17 tyres all-round.
Even though they have fair tread left, there are some small cuts in the sidewalls (nothing dangerous) but I'm more concerned about their age.
Also, I'm looking to see if there are better tyres to give:
The local tyre place which has a track car in the window (and therefore I presumed knew their stuff) had no clue sadly.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted!
Thanks

- reduced road noise
- slightly more compliant ride (wishful thinking )
- better protection from kerbing

They should bolt straight on, they do have a slightly wider offset which will bring them out towards the edge of the wheel arch. There are some examples of Twingo's on speedline Turinis online which look good I think
Thanks for confirming - appreciated!I will take a look around. But I’ll also ask if there are any recommended tyres that go straight on the standard 17” rims?

I know this is very late...
Running Falken 914s on my 133, aside from the road nosie they tick all your boxes.

For completeness to this thread, I ended up with Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/40 R17 V from BlackCircle. Still handles very well, reduced road noise and more compliant ride(ish), so thumbs up all round!
