I saw the new Alpine in Paris at a private showing last April, was blown away with its aluminium body and decided to order a UK Premiere edition slot on the spot.

Recent excellent road tests seems to vindicate the decision, I've no date yet but I've been asked to select an Alpine dealer. I think production is running late but hopefully UK cars will be coming through by Q3. Can't wait.

Anyone else have an incoming Alpine?

What a great choice for a road car that will no doubt be happy on track too.

Thanks. What also really impressed me is that Renault has not based the Alpine on an existing platform. Must have been tempting for them.

So I doubt there's much margin in it for them, great to see real commitment to establish Alpine.

Looks like the delivery date is still a guessing-game for UK deliveries.
When I placed my deposit, it looked like the beginning of Q2, so where
is news of delay into Q3?

The Alpine dealerships in the UK seem to also be wholly Renault owned.
That's a shame because their top UK dealership is just round the corner,
whereas I'll need to go to London, Birmingham or Manchester to collect
mine; all a bit of a hike away!

Seems like the motoring journos are raving nem-con about the car
and the soundtrack seems sublime too. All this is far too exciting for an
old guy who has always dreamed of Alpine ownership!

Steve

As well that I cannot afford one, living in N Yorkshire and moving shortly to the West Coast of Scotland....

Nice choice! If I could afford one I would have one, maybe a "pure" in 3 years. Over the past few years this is one of the few new cars that has really taken my fancy.

What are the colour options, anything like liquid yellow available?

Premier edition was Blue, White, Black.
not sure they have even firmed up the spec of the main production run yet, let alone colours.

I understood that the Premiere Editions would arrive in the UK in May with the non PE editions arriving thereafter. So the Q3 deliveries I imagine are for non PE cars.

That was assuming no delays to production and prioritising between countries once the PE orders are fulfilled.

Happy to be corrected though!

Good write ups so far. I hope its a big success and lots of sales (so that I can afford to buy one second hand in a few years time!).

I also hope they build a proper GT4 version for British and European GT4 series, and of course, a Rally GT version for tarmac rallying.

I stumbled across the press launch in December, a bunch of journalists were hurling 3 Alpine Blue models around the winding roads of the Luberon mountains near where I live. I later saw them parked up in Lourmarin. It was love at first sight. The first car to get me excited since TVR went bust, but the Alpine is very much more a 21st century car, with stunning performance combined with low thirst. My local dealer in Marseille received their showroom model last week, and I took my wife along the same day to do a selling job on her. I will receive one of the first production series cars 12 months from now.

No, French production cars will not be delivered until early 2019.

Two shades of blue, Alpine blue plus a slightly darker sapphire colour. Two white, one metallic, one flat. One gray, one black. That's it. Legend comes with leather, more comfy, less purposeful seats, plus reversing camera, 18 inch wheels etc, which are options on Pure.
