Is it my imagination or if anything have prices actually risen in the last year or so? Two years ago I went down to K-Tec racing and they had a 2010 cup for sale, £10995 I think it was. I was very close to buying one with some of my redundancy money, but instead got all sensible and bought a new kitchen....!! .....when I looked at their website the other day, their cheapest car (admittedly a 2011/61 plate model) was £12,995....

...I assume that the cars are sought after due to a) their massive reputation in the likes of EVO magazine and b) there currently isn't a direct replacement....

Even so, I never thought I'd see the day when a seven year old French car was trading for 40-50% of its original purchase price.

..also, lower mileage R26 F1 models seem to have not dropped in price at all during the last two years........

Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer before purchasing one of these, I've always fancied one....

I think that's just ktec mate. When I was looking for mine they were expensive compared to others. I'm sure you'll find one at the right price they are renaults after all.

K-tec probably isn't the best reference as their stock is generally very nice and they know how to charge for it.

When I was in the market at the beginning of this year I did find the prices a bit odd. Was originally looking for a 250 but when I realised I could get a nearly new 275 for not that much more they didn't look like a very good deal. Depends how fussy you are on spec.

Yeah 250s have definitely dropped over the past couple of years. See some with a nice spec for around £8k now.

Ktec are always very top of what they're worth.

There are quite a few for sale on the Meganesport.net facebook group.

Basic spec ones have dropped recently, they're about 8k now. High spec, well looked after ones can still go for 9, or even 10k.

I was looking at a 275 Trophy at the end of 2016. It was up at a Sytner dealer in Bristol for 22k, Nearly bought it. 2 months later it ended up in Ktec for 27k. So bear that in mind.

I've got a 2011 250 with a few mods and a few people have expressed interest in at due it's crazy high spec, history, and few light mods (wheel, brakes, exhaust and intake mainly)

If you've got any questions, feel free to send me a message, A mate of mine is considering selling his and I can give his info if needed.
