Hi
My dad has just got a new-to-him car (think it's a 2013 model) and after driving the length of the country yesterday to my brother's he now has a warning light on the dash, but the handbook isn't any help.

They've found the same question asked on the Peugeot forum but with no answer - see link for image. Does anyone know what it is?

I'm not going to be much help as I haven't even seen the car myself, although I will be visiting at the weekend.

Thanks

Auto or Manual gearbox?
I would also look at the auto diagnostic screen, Page 40 onwards in the handbook smile

It's a manual. I've just been through the handbook online and I can't find anything in there. I did wonder whether the car has directional headlamps and it's something to do with that because apparently the icon does move (as described in the link). My mum says the round bit at the top stays static but the inverted triangle moves (perhaps pivots) left and right.

Thanks, I've checked through it 3 times now and I still can't find anything. I'll just have to wait until Saturday when I can see it for myself.

A bit more info...
The triangle bit moves around the circle and was pointing to the right one time. I wondered whether it was some sort of compass but they've only seen it come on a couple of times. It might be worth adding that the car has a built-in satnav screen, which also controls other functions. I think they drove with the screen down but was something running and was then displaying on the instrument panel instead?

May the triangle indicates the direction to the destination point if you are using the nav-sat?

I've posted this question in General Gassing for a wider audience and in there I've said that I think it may be a speed camera alert. In the FAQ of the handbook it says:
"The system announces all speed cameras located in a conical zone forward of the vehicle. It may detect speed cameras on nearby or parallel roads."
I don't believe they were using satnav as I'm sure my mum said they had the screen down, but the maps screen may have been active(?) and was therefore indicating a speed camera on the instrument panel instead?

Ive the RT6 system in my RCZ, I don't get the camera warnings if my sat nav screen is down (it's also not a standard feature of either the RT6 or the larger NG4 system), you have to pay for the updates for a year and then download them frown

Thanks for that. I'm hoping it's the satnav, but the fact the screen was down makes me wonder why anything would appear on the dash. I'm visiting tomorrow so I can get a proper look then.
