Renault 5 gordini Turbo

Hi

Just picked up a R5 GD. The car has been sitting for a while. Whilst it will start it is very
lumpy and needs recommissioning. I am located in Gerrards cross, south bucks. Any
suggestions on the best place to take the car too?

These are old tech with carbs and points are they not.

Nice choice of car, I had a Gordini in black with red interior. Spent ages welding it back together only to scrap it as soon as it passed it's test. This was in the period when insuring a hot hatch was ~2k, and that was when 2k was a lot of dosh.

Keeping the body kit on kit. Yes car was purchased from ireland. Currently sourcing some parts, hoping to start working on it in the new year. Has e too many other projects in front.

I live locally, I know a great guy with a garage in Farnham Common that can fix pretty much anything. He seems to get a lot of Astons and classics in.

I know another chap locally with a Gordini and a GT2.
