Where is the thermostat on a C1 / 107?

I suspect I may have a sticky thermostat on a C1. Top radiator hose hot but bottom one cold.

I am used to old cars where the thermostat housing is nice and obvious and accessible - but I'm damned if I can see where it is on the C1!

I can see a small domed & finned plastic moulding lying horizontally where the bottom rad hose enters the engine block, so I assume that's it(?) but it looks nothing like any images I've seen on Google of 'C1 thermostat housing'!

So, is that it?

Follow the LOWER rad hose to where it fits to the cylinder head, the thermostat is inside that little housing that the hose fits to.
