Clio 1.4 ecu replacement

What sort of labour costs are you looking at to replace the ecu in a clio ?

Yet again my brothers clio has let him down , this time engine just shut off on the motorway so he got towed off and dumped in cannock .

The tow truck guy plugged into his car and it came up with a ecu fault .

Try blue Streak electronics for an ecu refurb, it's a few clips to remove on a mk2.

is it a easy job to replace it then ?

does it need reprogramming or the locks/keys re done ?

At present his cars in a halfords car park in cannock and he hired a car to get down to a wedding in the south west

Yeah it's just a few bolts and clips. Alternatively there's 'the Renault specialist' in West Bromwich.
