Looking for something that will eat up motorway miles, something under £3,500. Not read much bad things about them! Anybody have any experience with them?

A mate had one of these. I've only been a passenger in it, but it looked pretty well screwed together without the typical interior rattles of French cars, the leather seats were really comfortable, and the engine seemed effortless. It's an Isuzu designed lump if I remember correctly, but it's really refined and as far as I know it's considered not particularly problematic.

Sounds good... I was at work the other day and there was one parked up and I sat and scoped it out waiting for the owner to come back in my van, then I pounced in him and asked him what he thought of the car. He had had it since new in 2007 and had done 101,000 miles and he said nothing ever went wrong with it minus the fan belt went and the general wear and tear. Thanks very much for your input though bow

If you're genuinely interested in one I know of a chap that has a GT SW for sale that we've looked after from new.

I should point out that it's absolutely nothing to do with me or ourselves. It's metallic red, on a 57 plate and done around 65,000 miles with 3 owners from new.

If you pm me your number or email I'll happily pass it on to him.
