F4R PAS Pump End Float

Hi,
I'm in the middle of changing the belts and tensioner on my 172. Taking it apart I noticed an oil stain from the pump and that there was roughly 3mm endfloat on the pulley.
I'm gonna investigate the leak further but I'm the meantime I've found someone selling a second hand 1 year old pump. I asked them about any play and they said there is some but there's no leaks. Is it normal to have some end float on these?
