Peugeot 106 s1 rallye
Discussion
Hi guys,
I bought an s1 rallye in black this week. I've had GTI's XSI's but never a rallye, my first 106 in over 10 years!
I need a few parts for it...I'm after:
A standard steering wheel
Gearstick console (some xsi's had the immobiliser keypad built into this)
Standard springs
Standard exhaust.
Also, it has been lowered, anybody know the difficaulty level in reversing the rear beam/torsion bars etc to standard height?
My aim is to try and bring it back to a standard condition 😬

Welcome! Best place for more info is the 106 Rallye Register forum and facebook groups, it's everything you could possibly need.
On the torsion bar rear end, it's a bit of a moving goalpost - if it was done "properly" in the first place, and had some copperslip applied to the torsion bar threads, then it's actually pretty straight-forward. On the other hand, if the bars are seized into the axle, it might be really hard work.
