Hi All,

I have no power to the 12v socket in the central console at the rear.

The 12V at the front and the one in the boot are both ok (after swapping out a fuse for the boot 12v)

I have a type 2 fuse layout and have confirmed this (engine bay has a fuse box in front of the battery and the one in the glove box is definitely as per the manual).

My problem - the manual doesn't tell you where the fuse is for the rear 12V socket for a Type 2 layout (it does for a Type 1 - but that doesn't exist on my car).

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated

DV

IIRC its burried deep in amongst the birds nest of wires...

The second link has the correct Type of box, but I found that via Google as well and am almighty confused by fuse F36 - is it a fuse holder that looks like a relay?

It doesn't match my manual either unfortunately.

Only been 10 days since I contacted the dealer frown

I'm still digging.

Many thanks for that though

The fuse is located on the board behind all the wires.

As the post suggests by process of elimination...

Its a 10A fuse and was identified by methodically removing the 10A fuses, testing and replacing. The post suggests long nosed pliers and digging deep behind all the wires.

On the c5 there is a midi fuse holder under the bonnet with a red cover on it,seperate to the main BSM and maxi blade fuses. This has a link to supply the rear 12v socket, maybe the Grand Picasso is similar.

Hi

I've got the same problem. Did you identify which fuse was for the rear 12v?*Type 2 layout. All 3 of mine of blew due to dodgy pump. Found and replaced front fuse and boot fuse. Tried replacing all of the other 10amp and 15amp fuses that I could locate in the glove box but no joy on the middle 12v socket.

Cheers

Had the same issue on my C4 2016 GP - RHD.

Finally found it.

From the passenger side footwell (under the glove box).
Don't open the glove box but under that you'll find a soft panel that (in mine) holds the footwell lighting.
There are three retaining clips at the front and the panel can then be moved out of the way.
(The panel also has a plastic duct attached for the footwell air flow.)

Looking up behind the glove box you should see a small fuse box with three fuses fitted.
The bottom one is red (15A) - this is the rear 12v fuse.
