Hi guys, I use all the forums and have active wanted and other ads on them
I'd actually replied to some other chap's wanted ad on 106 Owners, hence why it going offline is a bit annoying
Paid to be a premium member of Saxp but I don't think that's more useful than say the Rallye forum.
I think my problem is that I am fairly forum-reliant as I don't Facebook, which is where I think a lot goes on these days?!

That is a shame, since there were a lot of goodies on the progress and build threads.
However, Facebook being so accessible and most people using that it has died off significantly.
Yeah it is I think the owners asked people to save their blog before they deleted the site. Very bad idea if you ask me. They should of left the site how it was rather than building a new one. Its so dead there is only ever a hand full of people on it at the best of times. However, Facebook being so accessible and most people using that it has died off significantly.
I hate to say it but I think Facebook is the future of car forums. Only problem is you do get a lot of trolls or people not being able to offer correct advice.
Very frustrating and annoying at the best of times.

Personally, as an avid user of forums of all kinds (gaming, music etc) I prefer the whole interface than going onto Facebook. I think it's a lot easier to administrate than an FB group, too.
So, has it just gone over to Saxo Owners, then? I tried to find a pic of my motor to show someone but everything from the site had gone!

So, there will be a new site?
Just been to see a chap down near Exeter and he had 3 x XSi and loads of parts I needed a few weeks/ months back.
I'd have probably known if I had been on Facebook!

I agree with the above comment. Facebook is hard to keep control of lots of scammers and it never stays on subject. Lots of bhing.

Pity, I spent ages on that site back in the day.
Same, but it started to die in part due to the fact that a lot of the posters were people who had bought 106's as their first cars (They aren't as common as they used to be) and also the Facebook groups which are better in a lot of ways. Also I think the original owner sold the site, could be wrong though.
