It's a worth a look, the interior is marmite but I'm the right size for it to work me however I can see the dash being a pain for some.

Shame, you've denied my chance of the ultimate ownership of the rarest car wink

The 308 GTI is a very understated car, mainly because there are so many other hot hatches on the market that have between 230-310bhp, mainly 2ltr so the 1.6ltr looks out of place, its not but most people think it is.
Yes you have to work it harder but on long runs or across country, it sips fuel and does the job effortlessly, again because its a 1.6 people dont think it will keep up with those 2ltr cars, in fact it does, its lighter and has just as good a power to weight ratio and 272ps, plus you should be able to get a decent discount on a new one compared to a Golf GTI or a SEAT 290.

My dealer is trying to talk me into buying one, the only reason I am not buying one is that I have an RCZ R, as there are less than 300 in the country its going to retain its value in the future, hence she's staying wink

Very good choice I would take the RCR-R over the GTI as well but would be a close call.

My dealer did tempt me with a 308 GTI 250 a few days ago, offered 7k off list on it for an unregistered one with 73 miles on it, has the 270 interior and 19 inch alloys, total bargain but i am really looking at a 3008 suv next after my 308 smile
