Timing Belt aging?
Discussion
Good evening!
I have not long since acquired a Clio 182 and the timing belt is well within the mileage and instead has come up to its 6 year change point.
Out of interest what is it that makes it need changing in age?
Is it something that can last a couple of months until it gets booked in?

Its the material used in the belts, it breaks down over time so hence it has a mileage and/or age to replace it.I have not long since acquired a Clio 182 and the timing belt is well within the mileage and instead has come up to its 6 year change point.
