Clio RS 220 Trophy - Adding in RS Monitor

Hi All

Does anyone know if i can install RS monitor into the car after purchase? I heard a rumor it could be downloaded ?

I'd guess, yes and no.

Yes it should be possible, I believe the r-link stuff in the new Renaults is all Android based so the RS monitor is probably just another package they install or enable. The link into the ECU is probably already there as it probably just read off the diagnostics like the OBD.

But can you do it? Not seen it done personally and you'll get less than no help or info from Renault about it.

Might be worth asking on a dedicated Clio forum like 197.net

OK Cheers for the info. I am not picking it up for 2 weeks but i think i will try and push them for a how-to then, and in the mean time hit the clio forums. It does feel like it should just be a software thing thats just made incredibly clunky/difficult deliberately by Renault!

I'm sure without it you'll not miss much if anything. I've got the older version in my Meg and rarely use it beyond childish periods of playing 'make the bars go to the end' with boost and brake pressure

Nope you are completely right - however if its easy to put on i think i will do it just because i am a child at heart
