I've been looking, for quite some time, for a late (2011-2013), low mileage, n/a RS.

Must confess, I've let a few slip by, but now quite anxious to find one to use in the UK.

Problem is, I'm a bit fussy. Looking for 'Storm Grey' (but might consider Alien Green, Racing or Albi Blue, dark Silver). Must be Full Fat spec., plus other nice options, full history, perfect original condition (and no dark tints).

Do you think there's any left?

They are likely out there. But like you, most people want them, and the people who have them are holding onto them. Your best bet would be jump onto the forums and facebook groups and keep an eye out, and be prepared to pounce as soon as one comes up.

Agree.

I'm in touch with the forums and main selling media, and ready to move quickly - cash burning a hole in my pocket for exactly the right car.

However, I do think the market is actually fairly flat at the moment - lots of cars slow to sell or not selling.

IIRC FF spec is cup with Recaros?

If so: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

I think FF is the the higher spec - better interior with climate, cruise, rake & reach steering, headlight upgrade, etc

The Cup Pack is the sportier chassis, and the wheels and seats are options.

Like the colour of that one but also looking for sub 20k mls

I wouldn't worry about mileage to be honest, as long as it's not mental high.

I've got one with 60k, that I've had for 5 years and it's perfect, but looking for another that's as new as possible

That's a poverty spec cup.

You can tell, cup have black door strips. The 200 non cup with better interior has colour coded strips.

FF etc is just pish made up on a forum and means fk all really.

I don't understand full fat specifications. Apparently there's a FF Megane RS, which what it is, I have no idea. I have one with Cup chassis and Recaros, anything else, not a clue.

FF generally means the higher spec car but with the cup chassis option. So you get the toys and the better handling. These are normally the most desirable.

It is indeed a forum fabrication as opposed to official model designation.

"Full fat" comes from the early noughties Clios - Cup models didn't have aircon and some other things and were generally lighter than "FF" which had climate control etc.

FF versions could be specified with a "Cup Pack" which was different alloys and suspension.

Confusingly! Don't know differences in the 200s but assume the forums will have guides.

Blimey, January and I'm still looking rolleyes

'Storm Grey' preferred, and I'd pay a premium for the right car.
