206 diesel best buy - 1.4, 1.6 or 2.0?

What's the best diesel-engined 206 - 1.4, 1.6 or 2.0?
Looking for reliability. Do they all have DMFs? Do they have DPFs? Any years to avoid?
I know 1.4 has cheaper tax, which is a bonus. Cheers.

2ltr is probably the best of the 3 engines, its usually the most reliable as the early 1.4/1.6's suffered issues, especially if they were not maintained to the correct standard (very temperamental if the oil changes are not done on time).

Most cars with dpf's didn't come in till around 2004/05 so you should be ok with the early ones (if any have them at all).
DPF's are not an issue if the car is run correctly and not chugged around town all its life tbh.
