206 hdi stiff going into first

Got a problem with my 206 hdi it's sometimes very not hey/stiff going into 1st gear, I've replaced the gearbox oil and no signs of any metal particles in there,
All other gears work perfect gearstick has no play so that's fine,
Clutch doesn't slip at all it does bit quite high but to be expected with 100k on clock
Could this point toward clutch slave cylinder?
