Just curious who on here is considering ordering one?

I'm in the U.S. so we don't get the brand unless it does well in europe. Or else I would be ordering two, just to show how pleased I am with the homage to the original!

Well, I telephoned the salesman at my local stealers and asked that my
interest in buying the car be forwarded on to Renault, so they got a
clear idea of the interest from us buyers in the UK. The top of the
range Renault in the UK now is a Mégane..?

Regards,
Steve

I'm interested, but I won't be pre-ordering anything until I've seen one in the flesh. I've got a new Clio RS coming in the next month or so. By the time I've had that for two years or so I guess the Alpines will start to appear from production.

Likewise, I am interested but want to see and drive one. It is going to have to drive as well as my Evora

Interesting you say that, as the Evora was my other choice of car. I would expect the Alpine to be significantly cheaper than a new Evora though.

Yes. I am one of those despicable people who will compare both new and used cars! Evora would be a used one replacing my current evora.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I just think a 40k Alpine would have a tough job competing with a more expensive Lotus!

I really like the look of the Evora 400, but oddly the older Evoras are now growing on me too as I wasn't a fan when they originally came out.

This is partly why I think, or hope, they plan on bringing Alpine here. Lotus stopped selling the elise in the u.s. and the evora as well. Albeit, is a niche market, but seens as how the only cars that are really in the lightweight 4 cyl, category are the porsche and alfa, they could probably make up a third of that market share fairly easily.

The Grand Scenic has the more expensive starting price, and is the bigger vehicle.

That's as maybe but top of the range Kadjar is streaks ahead of top spec G Scenic.
