172 belts and dephaser

I've seen a 172 advertised for £1500 not too far from me. Its had the belts changed in 2012 about 30k miles ago but the dephaser wasn't done. The seller says there is no noise and the car is now on around 100k.
Is it worth a look or should I expect to change everything pretty soon?
I've heard mixed views on getting the dephaser done as it isn't a service item according to Renault and it isn't necessary every belt change. Would it likely pose a problem on the above car until the belts get done again in a year or 2?
