Dear all
My daily workhorse at circa 150k on the clock is coming up for replacement. I'm leaning toward a Peugeot 3008 as its successor. .

I'm looking at buying a vehicle 2 years old or newer. One of the key features I would like is cruise control/speed limiter. Doing some research shows that this is not a standard fit on all 3008's.

So, the query is, can cruise control be installed on a s/h 3008 , circa 2012 on, and if so, a rough kind of cost?

TIA

If you have an Active (second one in) onwards it should have cruise control. If not cruise control can be retro fitted but you can't see it on the screen behind the wheel like you can on standard fit.

The majority will have it.

Thanks for that. The particualr vehicle I'm currently scrutinising is listed as an "Active II" a 2013 model. The listing seems to mention everything, Auto wipers, etc, but no mention of cruise control.

Possible the dealer has missed it out of the description I suppose, have to make a phone call, it seems.

If its anything like any other Peugeot ive done it on, it will be a case of buying the correct stalk, plugging that into the com2000 unit and updating about 3 settings in the ECU & the BSI via Peugeot planet/diagbox. Main dealer could do this but will charge you an hours labour/diagnostic fee etc. Or you can buy the leads/software off ebay under £100 now, or find someone local to you who has it and will do it for beer tokens. If your anywhere near north west wales I do have it.
