I've got my MOT coming up and was planning to have my clutch changed at the same time, but I cant decide if it needs doing or not.
The clutch slipped once or twice back in Late December when going up a slip road to join a motorway, but it hasnt happened since and any "tests" dont seem to produce the same results.
I cant decide if it was clutch slip or if I was being lazy and feeding the accelerator in before I'd let the clutch out.
I'm paranoid now, especially as I'm saving for a new exhaust. I dont want to buy the exhaust to find that the clutch does need doing, but similarly I dont want to change the clutch if it doesnt necesarrily need it doing.
For context, ive had the car since 21k miles, is now on 93k miles. Still on original clutch.
What would you do?
