citroen ax key stuck in the ignition PLEASE HELP

my key got stuck in the ignition in my frustration i ended disconnecting the wires and snapping the key i then started drilling the hole where the key goes cause i realized that i needed it in the 1 position. i then tried to drill the locking device that was preventing the barrel to come out.

Your stuffed?? no simple answer,you need to be able to turn the key to remove the lock assembly.
You will need a professionals "gut buster" electric drill and a very big drill bit.Just drill away and destroy the lock until the spring loaded locking pin moves.Naturally avoid damaging the housing.
I cant tell from your image but if your AX has a transponder around the collum housing there will be a chip in the old key that has to be fitted to the new one that comes with the new steering lock.

i managed to sort it i used the drill to go through the locking device which go through to the metal surrounding the barrel its self then used a hammer and punch to move it forward and outYou will need a professionals "gut buster" electric drill and a very big drill bit.Just drill away and destroy the lock until the spring loaded locking pin moves.Naturally avoid damaging the housing.
